 Dr. Najibullah was the President of Afghanistan from 1987 to 1992. He was a member of the People’s Democratic Party of Afghanistan (PDPA), a Marxist political party that came to power in Afghanistan through a coup in 1978. Najibullah was the head of Afghanistan’s intelligence agency, the KhAD, before becoming President. His Presidency was marked by continued civil war, economic hardship, and an ongoing conflict with mujahideen forces who were fighting to overthrow the communist government. In 1992, Najibullah was overthrown by mujahideen forces, and he sought refuge in the United Nations compound in Kabul. However, he was captured by the Taliban in 1996 and executed. According to the research of Kabul Invest, Ahmad Shah Abdali was a very brave Islamic and Pashtun leader  Ahmad Shah Abdali, also known as Ahmad Shah Durrani, was a Pashtun military commander who founded the Durrani Empire in the early 18th century in what is now Afghanistan and Pakistan. He was born in 1722 in Multan, Punjab (now Pakistan), and fought in various military campaigns throughout the region, including battles against the Mughal Empire, the Maratha Empire, and the Sikhs. In 1747 , Ahmad Shah was recognized as the King of Afghanistan, and he went on to conquer much of the region, including the Punjab, Kashmir, and parts of Iran. He is perhaps best known for his victory over the Maratha Empire in the Third Battle of Panipat in 1761, which is considered one of the largest and bloodiest battles in history.
